Therapists

Cynthia Tidwell
I’ve been providing a variety of counseling services over the past 17 years. I’m licensed in New Hampshire as a clinical social worker and my services are reimbursable by most insurance plans and HMOs. Whether it’s doing individual, couple, or family therapy, I particularly enjoy working with Christian clients and helping them draw upon the resources of their faith. I am committed to helping people resolve individual and interpersonal problems as quickly as possible. Over the years I have found that as we struggle with our issues, they can offer us our greatest opportunities for personal discovery, spiritual growth, and character building.  I work in our Hampton Falls and Epping offices.

If you think I can be of help to you, please give me a call at: (603) 475-5287.

Duane Kellogg, Jr.
I’ve been doing psychotherapy for over 20 years. Each person, couple, and family that I’ve seen has been entirely unique and yet, they’ve all shared some common traits as well. Deep down inside, everyone wants to feel loved, valued, and respected. When that doesn’t happen for whatever reason, symptoms of distress begin to appear. These symptoms may manifest themselves in anxiety, anger, or depression. Or they may appear as relational conflicts or issues.

Part of my job is to help people sort this out and find appropriate ways to not only meet their own needs, but also the needs of those around them. I have found that while I can work successfully with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and worldviews, I am particularly adept at helping Christians reach their goals in therapy. One of my specialties is marriage counseling where I find that if both parties really want to make their relationship work, with God’s help this usually can happen.

I see clients in our offices in Dover and Kittery Point. If you think I can be of service to you, I invite you to give me a call at: 207-337-3884.

Paula Cooper Davenport
I am profoundly grateful that God has allowed me to serve as a mental health professional for more years than I want to admit. During that time I’ve worked with a wide variety of people, and I have been truly blessed. At this point in my life, I’ve decided to scale down and simplify things as much as possible. As a result, I’m no longer doing one on one counseling. Instead, I’ve decided to focus on what I love doing and what I do best: interventions for families, churches, and businesses struggling with what to do with an alcoholic member or employee.

I’ve been trained in the Johnson model of interventions and over the years I’ve done quite a few. It’s a big step for those who love or care about and alcoholic to reach out for help, but it’s a critical one. Since denial is part of the disease of alcoholism, both for the alcoholic as well as those around him/her, taking that first step to get help is a major breakthrough. I want to be there to help you make your intervention into the life of an alcoholic as effective as possible. Working together, and with God’s help, alcoholics can be reached before they do serious damage to themselves or others.
